I've never been one to follow a routine or strict schedule. I understood that having a baby would require it, but I never imagined I'd crave a schedule so much. A mere five-minute delay feels like it disrupts the entire day. My son isn't on a very rigid schedule, yet he somehow manages to sleep and wake up at the same time every day—8pm to 8am. Any deviation affects his entire routine, including naptime, meals, and playtime. Vacations disrupt bedtimes and the daily schedule, as do spontaneous day trips during the week. I wonder if I'll ever find a balance that works for us, where I don't feel overwhelmed by laundry or struggling to stay awake (not literally haha). When will it become easier to plan my day the night before and stick to it? How can I maintain a stable schedule for my child while still living life? These are questions every new mom asks. Even the most laid-back person can become organized in an instant. I started this blog to find the community every mom needs to succeed! I want this to be a place where any mother can shine, even on the toughest days, not just to help myself, but any mom feeling a bit lonely in a crowded room. Feel free to send me a message anytime as we all navigate motherhood, relying on and growing with each other!
